"The perfect find if you’re looking for a sandwich spot in the east valley. Kind of a random shopping center, but inside has a cool modern retro vibe. Order at the counter and has a bar top. Great menu and ingredients for a great classic sub. A little heavy on the mustard if you’re not a huge fan, but I am. Its family ran which immediately adds to the atmosphere. Overall a great sandwich spot in the east valley"

"I was looking for a late night sandwich shop and didn't want a chain restaurant and stumbled upon this family owned sub and brews. It was delicious very well made great portions and fresh even at 8pm. Husband and wife owners very nice to talk to. I had the New york New york which is pastrami. Canned coke products fyi. I'm definitely coming back to try different sandwiches."

"Just had an amazing experience at Retro's!!! Such a hidden gem here in Chandler!!! Sandwiches are humongous!!!! No exaggeration. Service is awesome, family owned and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their unique Menu and huge selection of giant sandwiches made in house. You can taste the pride they pour into their business with each bite you take. Highly recommend!!! We ordered: Yellow submarine - This one was HUGE. Enough for two maybe three people to share. It's stacked!!! The Boss - Tender pulled pork sandwich filled with bacon, Black Forest ham and more pulls pork. I got the Maneater - Stuffed to the brim with hot pastrami and hot dogs, pickles and mustard. It. Was. Delicious. Sandwiches so big you will definitely have leftovers. I feel awful I didn't get to take pictures. I was so invested and excited about eating that it didn't cross my mind. Next time I'll take photos. We also got two sides: Mac Salad and Potato Salad. Both were also good too. They have a good assortment of drinks, alcohol too if you're interested. Ample seating and very good taste in music. Come support this family!!! Would love to see them grow and stay for a long time."

"WOW. These sandwiches are absolutely out of this world. Hands down the most flavorful, filling, and delicious meal I’ve had in Arizona in the four years we’ve lived here. As a total food connoisseur who grew up in Seattle, I’m pretty hard to impress—and most places here haven’t done it. This one absolutely did. "My wife and I stopped in to Retro’s Subs & Brew on a day out. My wife picked this place and she made a good choice. The food was amazing, and the ingredients at top quality. It is a bit unusual but that’s what makes it even better. You can get a sandwich anywhere but you can only get one if their sandwich creations at Retro’s. The lady working that day was very helpful and pleasant. We will be going back again."
